Contrary to Lance's usual untamed and nerve racking attitude and Roxanne's earlier believe, dinner has progressed rather smoothly.

Lance behaved more normal than Roxanne had ever witnessed, smiling and conversing politely with the members of her family and even going as far as offering her grandmother a surprise gift. To say the elderly woman was pleased would be an understatement. She stared at the expensive bottle of antic wine with a glint in her eyes that told Roxanne that the woman truly appreciated uncalled for effort.
