After showering and changing her dress, Roxanne rushed towards the one place where she knew she could confirm if Lance's words were a lie or not.

It was a medium size love cottage located closely near the forest and on the quieted side of Los Angeles. Her mother always seemed to enjoy the company of the animals, the trees and all of nature alike.

When Roxanne had been younger, she has grumbled about her mother's choice of residence since it was so far away from her school and she had to seat in the back of her designated car for hours. At some point, she had threatened to move away as a young kid, her parents simply laughed at her words, but never the less, they met her demands and sent her to leave with her grandparents until the weekends.
