Chapter 101: “Get in.”

It soon became clear where we were going to when I saw the familiar neighborhood I had seen just this morning come within my sight again. I hadn’t expected him to take me there but given that this was probably the safest place where no one would try to interfere with us, he had chosen it.

I wondered if there was another reason but nothing came to my mind and quietly looking out the window I remembered how it had felt before when we had been together and going through these exact places around in a car. It had been such a peaceful and happy journey then, going back to the place that I had come to know as a home for me with dreams of living as a family with Draven.

But now I could hardly breathe sitting with him in this car going in the direction of the same house that had the memories of the past I had forgotten.
