I got in early to work, and the first thing I heard when Dan entered into the office was: “I really don’t get what is going on with Samantha,” I rolled my eyes at his words because honestly I was tired. I couldn’t go one day without Samantha being the center of every topic. It was either Samantha this or Samantha that. Like why can’t I just go one day without having to hear her name?
“Are you even listening to me?” Dan asked, waving his fingers in my face. I closed my eyes to force the rude and very bad words I was about to spew at him back down my throat. I shook my head instead.
“Tell me when we’re done with work because I’m not sure you know, but we have quite a lot to do,” I pressed my lips together. Dan probably turned his face away in anger or annoyance, I don’t know, as I kept my attention on the screen before me. I
"Sewa, I'm sure you can say something, or do something," Noah grabbed my hands while I was trying to fit my phone and phone charger into my purse. It has been a week since my talk with Antonio about Samantha and Diego, and the day Antonio picked as the first day of the reconciliation of which Dan wasn't a fan to. Throughout the day, Dan had been begging and demanding that I do something to stop Samantha or Antonio; I really wanted to, but I didn’t have much say in the matter, not when Antonio was feeling he had the best idea. Poor Diego; I could see the fear in his eyes. When Antonio told him about his plan to bring his birth mother into his eyes, he almost shit himself. Diego hates the woman, and her presence isn’t going to fix the hate or mend his his broken heart.“Dan, do I look like I’m a fan of this?”
We arrived at Noah’s cafe, and we were received by Noah himself who seemed excited to see me; his excitement didn’t go unnoticed by Samantha. Noah has even gone out of his way to remind me that I’d always receive VIP service whenever I come to his cafe.Diego easily found a table for us, which he ran to like the milkshake was already there waiting for him. Noah and I smiled at Diego lovingly, making me forget for a second that Samantha was right there with us.“Would you like anything?” I asked Samantha. She pressed her lips together, looking around the cafe before finding my eyes and shaking her head. I nodded and turned to Noah.“Who is she?” Noah asked, curiosity etched on every part of his face.“Diego’s mother,” Samantha pointed at Diego at the table which was a safe distance from where we stood.
I noticed something different about Antonio ever since Samantha started coming over. He still kept a distance between them; he didn't talk to her or anything, but there was a change. Antonio was starting to tolerate her. He'd occasionally smile when she's holding Diego, or when she attempts to do something for the little boy. Of course, I was happy that his plans for Diego and his mother were working out, but still, something about the whole thing didn't sit well with me. Samantha smiled too much, she did too much, and I'd know because I was paying too much attention to her. I hated it, but I couldn't help it. It scared me, my thoughts, telling me that Samantha would take everything from me if I so much as blink.I sighed, pushing myself backward on my sit, taking a breath as the sit rolled back. The day was almost done and I could barely get any work done with the past few weeks popping up in my head; with Samant
Dinner with Antonio and Diego was nice. It was what we needed to get our family back on track, it was what we needed to bond and shake off the bad Samantha energy. Diego was fast asleep by the time we got home, and Larry helped carry him to his room since Antonio looked like he had other plans, looking at me like dessert. I smile at him. It had been too long anyway.Antonio pressed me against the door frame, leaning in slowly as he pressed his lips on mine. I smiled against his lips, it tasted like the wine we had for dinner and Antonio. I pull Antonio by his collar, closer to me as his lips devour mine."Let's take this inside," Antonio bit on my lower lips as he smirks. I remember speaking, but I don't remember the words I spoke, as all my mind was clouded and filled with Antonio and what he was about to do to me."Goodnight boss," Larry made his presence known beside us, but we were too clouded to care or even acknowledge the man b
I looked up at the sky from the mat I had laid out for Diego and I; Diego was sleeping, cuddled up on my body. The weather had been great this afternoon, I guess that should've told me that the rain was going to fall later. The clouds were dark and heavy; the weather was changing fast, and soon, it became windy; the indication that it was going to rain hard. I hurriedly carried Diego into the house, while the maid packed up the mats and books I had taken out with me.I looked around the kitchen and living room, even Diego's room, but Samantha wasn't any where. She had come today for her weekly visit, and while Diego and I were in the small garden at the back of the house, Samantha was sitting by the back door, at least that's the last place I saw her sitting before she disappeared. My eyes widened at the realization that she might be in the room Antonio and I share; I ran there immediat
Antonio stepped out of the shower with his towel hanging loosely around his waist, showing off his beautiful body. I sat on the bed, watching him walk slowly to me, all the while my eyes were trained on that V line and what was below it. I bit my lips, with longing."You know, you keep looking at me like that and it's driving me crazy," Antonio bit his lips, taking my attention from his perfect V-line to his face. His long hair stuck to his body like a second skin because of how wet it was, and all I wanted to do was to run my fingers through it. I bit my lower lips with a sly smile playing on my lips."When you look at me like that, I can't help but think very bad thoughts," Antonio staled towards me like a predator towards his prey. I laid my back on the bed when Antonio got to me. He stood between my legs, spreading them wide, then he leaned in, burying his face in the crook of my neck. I shut my eyes at
"I don't know if I told you, but Frank asked me to marry him," Anabeth flashed her big rock in our faces, mine and Dan's."It's this Saturday, and you're both invited," she added with a little smile. It wasn't the normal smile Anabeth usually had on, the one that showed she was as much as a bitch as everyone thought she was, no, this smile was of someone who is genuinely happy, and for the first time in my life, I was happy for her."Aren't you supposed to hand us wedding invites when you say something like that?" Dan questioned, cocking his head to the side. He was trying to mock her."No need for invites, just let us know where, we'll be there," I smiled at her. Anabeth flashed me a grateful smile, scowling a little at Dan, the. She walked out of the office."You don't have to be horrible when she's not being horrible you know? You look like a bully," I passed Dan a look which he laughed in response.&nbs
I took in a deep breath as I turned off my car. I had arrived home after having coffee with Aaliyah. I saw Antonio's car parked, which meant he was home, I smiled. After the afternoon I had, all I wanted was a good bath and a sensual massage from my man, but I guess I might've taken the Samantha thing too likely, because when I entered the house, I saw Samantha crying, holding onto Antonio's waist as she cried on the floor."What the hell is this?" I asked both of them and non of them in particular.Antonio stood frozen in his work clothes and briefcase hanging loosely from his right hand, and his black coat on his left. He had just returned from work."Get off me," Antonio looked down at Samantha instead of answering me."Samantha?" I called her out. She looked angry, and her eyes were bloodshot with tears. So this is how she decided to play her game?"Dan is cheating, and Sewa knows about it
