Chapter Five: Half-Naked

A week later.

Richard unlocked the door to his new penthouse and let the movers inside. This past week had felt like the most prolonged wait for him, and he had hurried along the papers for the penthouse to be in order.

Last week when he spotted her through the elevator, he had spent the following days researching the building and the residents, but he had yet to come across her name. Was she maybe staying with someone? A boyfriend? No. Richard refused to accept that she might be unavailable to him.
