Afraid

Scarlett's POV:

It came again with full dominance. I couldn't get myself together as I yelled in pain and anger. The pain increased. I didn't know what to do. I saw it coming towards me in preparation to devour the remaining parts of me, I yelled for help but there was nobody, not even a soul to help me out. I saw the monster raising his hands above him as his fingers like blades lengthened. His mouth parted and his red eyes stared down at me.

" Let me go!" Even without a single strength in me, I managed to voice even when I knew he was going to kill me before I got the chance to lay a finger on him.

His eyes darkened as he let his finger pierce into my skin. Ahh! I felt a liquid substance pouring out of me, both from my mouth and the spot he stabbed me. The pain I felt was unexplainable, unbearable and I felt like I was going to lose my life anytime from now. Looking at the monster, I saw satisfaction in his eyes, and consumption was yet to be fulfilled...
