Chapter 33

The trip this time was much more convenient than the last time because of Harvey's help. He took the initiative to drive Brian and me to the border, saving a lot of time. We will not have the same trouble as the previous trip.

Along the way, Brian's attitude towards me was very unusual; he was colder and often looked at me with sharp eyes, making me feel uneasy because I was hiding something anyway.

"What do you have in your backpack that makes you look so bulky, Kelsey?" Harvey asked excitedly.

I answer. "I just brought some food and a tent."

"Oh, my God! Hasn't anyone told you the way we're going? We'll cross the city, and there's a hotel; we don't need to stay in the jungle." Harvey laughed.

Hearing him say that embarrassed me; I looked like a fool with my actions.

I looked out the window to see the moving scenes. They were beautiful and brilliant, more sparkling than I could have imagined. There were many nights when I looked up at the sky and longed to fly like wild birds.
