Chapter 11: Rolling Eyes

Raviora's Point of View

I spent the whole day in this hotel room by myself while the others were outside. They knew precisely I was unable to get away and really took a look at all the conceivable ways to get out.

Gradually, I opened my eyes sluggishly.

A person in the glass window is whom I saw when I woke up. Based on his body, figure and clothes, it was Adam. My eyes went to the wall clock. It’s already midnight! Three AM specifically.

“Was it still my problem?” He said calmly, but the roughness in his voice was still there. “Then do whatever it takes to catch him!” He hissed, almost a shout.

Adam is obviously talking to someone over the phone. From here, I can see him leaning on the half closed glass door. I saw how frustrated he was from here in our bed.
