Sleepy and I are walking through the forest after disembarking the ship. The impossibly tall pine trees seeming to reach for the stars reminds me of home, yet the atmosphere is different.
The winds traveling past us seem colder somehow, and the air is heavy to breathe. Every pant vaporizes, and I blink away frost from my eyelashes, shuddering.
"It's so freaking cold!" My lips are quivering.
Sleepy chuckles. "Well, it's autumn, not summer."

"I'm starving too," I complain, wishing I had a coat to pull over my body. I'm snotty and probably close to running a fever. "But it doesn't look like we will find any nearby restaurants."
