Alyssa

As we run for our sweet, fragile lives from this Arachne person, I dig my eyes into Sleepy while panting in exhaustion.

"You called-..." I lick my lips and press on forward, ignoring the headache building behind my eyes. I'm about to have a migraine. "You called her a dridder?"

"Yup,"

Sleepy is flying as fast as he can, entirely stretched out with his wings barely even moving—if he were a little bigger, he would probably be faster than the rest of us.

Bigger!

Suddenly, my chest sparkles with newfound hope. "Sleepy!"

The fairy blinks down at me. "Should I be worried about the look you're giving me?"

I shake my head while running and almost stumble over Malia's dog in the process; the little furball seems to think this is a game.

"No," I pant like a dog while talking, probably something I picked up from the actual dog. "I mean, can't you size-change and carry us?"

"You don't think I would have done that
