The Intruder

Arabella's eyelids parted slowly, she was awake once again.

To be frank, she could not count how many times her eyes had flickered open and close in the last couple of hours. It seemed like it was all she could do.

She had barely opened her eyes when she heard the door click open and close. Arabella tilted her neck towards the door, but she could not see anyone - or anything - the room was pitch black.

Arabella heaved a sigh as she tried to narrow her eyes on the dark shadow. It must have been master Klaus, she thought to herself. After all, no one else had a real reason to come into the room besides him.

However, she could neither see nor feel anything. She closed her eyes, took in a deep breath, before turning back towards the door.

"Master Klaus?" She called out to the darkness, but he did not respond.

It was unlike Klaus, he would have rushed to her the second she called out to his name, no matter what.
