Chapter Fifty

After I received the lashes of whip on my back, I stood up and it didn't seem to have an effect on me. I had suffered enough that I didn't seem to hide the pain. I was struggling to not cry as my back seemed to hurt

Princess Kieran was frustrated because I didn't show signs of pain. If King Raymond had not stopped her, she probably wouldn't have left me alone. "What are you? A stupid sorcerer?"

The frustration could be seen in their faces. "We have something important to discuss," he told her and turned to look at me. "You're now my personal slave but this doesn't make you greater or bigger than the other slaves. You're just like every other slave, stupid and useless. You'll continue to work with them until the new competition." He told me.

I frowned.

A new competition? What did that mean? Was there going to be twists I didn't expect? Since they wanted me out of their miserable lives, I knew they would do anything they could to make me weak.

I nodded. "Yes master."
