ANDREI'S POV

I was on a call. "What did you say?" I asked with a frown.

"There have been a few attacks on the people living near the Kingdom's borders. We believe that someone is trying to get to you, Your Highness!" The person on the other end of the phone said.

Of course, I knew those bastards were out to get me. Their message the last time had been clear enough. Now that I had tightened the security around the Kingdom, they were taking the packs nearby.

I got up and paced around my room when I heard this. "What exactly happened?" I asked.

I hadn't heard anything since a spy invaded the Kingdom. I had almost forgotten that Anya had seen a spy. I was so occupied with finding her for the past few days that I did not pay attention to what was happening in the Kingdom.

When I finally returned to my duties, this had already happened. I was even more mad at her. If she had not run away, then this wouldn't have happened. I would have been more focused then.
