Chapter 21: I will see you tonight

I didn't have the right to judge someone because I wasn't perfect in any way. However, thinking King Edward might get me pregnant and then take away my child made me think it wasn't right. He was a murderer and I didn't know what I was supposed to think or decide.

“You want to get your revenge on your stupid mate, right? Alpha James cheated on you with your sister. Ashianna, if you always use your heart, and your moral standards you will end up losing everything. They're greedy to be the most powerful creatures in the world, so you must do it, too.” Marcus added. His expression was more severe which made me look away from me.

I didn't want his words to affect my mind. He was saying what he thought was the best thing.

“If you're always in the middle then you will be crashed intentionally. It's you who will get hurt. Stop being a stupid woman they used to know.” Marcus' words were like sharp knives stabbed in my chest. He was right, I couldn't stop myself from agreeing with him.

I heard
