CHAPTER 30: Planning

As Davina mentioned, Ezekiel still hasn't returned to the mansion.

So, I was locked in the basement for almost a whole day. I only got out when a mechanic came to retrieve some items. That person was surprised to see me.

I also didn't leave my room for the whole day because I was still recovering from fear. I couldn't even deliver my letter to Raquel, which was supposed to be taken by Danilo yesterday.

"Just because I'm not bothering you doesn't mean you can just stay comfortable in your room, Serena! Hey!" My door was loudly pounded. "Open this door if you don't want me to break down this entire place!"

Barbara's voice was disturbing. She kept knocking on the door repeatedly, to the point that it might break.

Reluctantly, I got up from the bed and walked to open the door.

"Why?" I asked without any enthusiasm, looking at Barbara's angry face.
