CHAPTER 31: Escaping

"Take a quick shower, and let's have breakfast."

I wiped away the sleep from the corners of my eyes and looked at Ezekiel, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, fixing his polo shirt.

"Okay." Well, this is the first time he offered me breakfast after sleeping with him.

Reluctantly, I got out of bed, feeling sore all over. I immediately headed to his bathroom to freshen up and get ready.

We had breakfast on the terrace of his room. The food was already prepared on a small table, with only two chairs facing each other.

I wonder who's the unluckiest woman to ever sit here and deal with him.

I sat across from him. As he started eating, I finally picked up my spoon.

"Are you taking the vitamins I gave you last time?" he asked me coldly.

I nodded without looking at him. "Mm."

"Then, why are you not gaining weight?"

"I don't know."

"Tsk! We'll have to take a look at that after my business trip," he said. "I'll come back after a week. Make sure that you gain at least two to four kilos."
