Chapter 8: Carrying His Child

"I'm pregnant..."

No matter how many times I say it, I still feel strange.

Even though I know it's normal to get pregnant because I have intimate relations with Ezekiel, I still can't believe that there is a growing baby inside my womb.

I feel like crying at the thought, and I can't help but rest my hand on my flat stomach.

"I'm going to be a mother." I can't help but smile.

"Are you going to tell Kuya that he's going to be a father too?" Raquel asked, her brows furrowed. "If you want, you can stay here in my condo for a few days while you think about your plans. Plus, you need to rest, away from what's stressing you out, and for the safety of the child."

I stayed in her condo for a few weeks and occasionally booked a hotel room to rest after shooting. In the past month, I can count on one hand the number of times I went home to the mansion to get my things, coincidentally when Ezekiel wasn't there.
