BRIELLE’S POV

Brielle glanced at the red gown she had put on for tonight's anniversary party.

The translucent dress, which highlighted her delicate contours, was magnificent and exquisite in a simple way, and when combined with the make-up on her face, she couldn't deny she looked stunning. She wore no jewelry, opting to go bare because the ruched gown already had some diamonds, and she didn't want to look too flashy.

Her shoes were a glass-designed Cinderella-type stiletto heel, and her overall glam was flawless.

A smile came on her lips as she stared at herself in the full-length mirror before her.

She imagined what Lord Darius would say if he saw her in this gown. A chill raced down her spine as she tried to play out the words he would probably mutter. For someone who liked telling her how beautiful she was at regular intervals, Brielle knew he would outdo himself tonight.
