I could overhear footsteps from afar, and I could sense this familiar scent. It was very familiar, very attractive, like I have perceived it multiple times. It caused me to turn around, and to my utmost dismay, it was her, my mate, my heartbeat, staring at me with eyes that depicted fear and scare

How could she see me like this? The one I had killed had brought out this side of me that had always been hidden, forcing me into to pulling out all of his organs from his body.

Slowly I transformed into my human form, staring at her. I looked down on my body, at my hands which were clothed with red pigmented blood. I could taste blood as my tongue rubbed against my lips.
