I woke up with a strong migraine and the urge to throw up. I knew it must be the drinks I took last night. How I ended up here wasn't farfetched because I was sure Maverick must have brought me here. I looked around to find the room empty and cold.

He must have left last night. Did I do anything stupid? I have pondered that question since I woke up and realized that I had been drunk last night. I was also getting pissed that Maverick could leave me knowing I will need him.

I was trying to balance my thoughts to ease my throbbing head when my chamber door was pushed open. Who could be so bold as to push the door without knocking? Obviously, I didn't need to ask too much because the culprit had entered, walking towards the couch smugly.
