Chapter Thirteen - Compliment

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, the rustling of the dried leaves against the wind. The ray of sun shone reflecting in my eyes, I let out a yawn intending to get up but was pulled back down by arms draped around my waist.

I looked up to see an oval-shaped face with high cheek bones sound asleep. I smiled at the fact that he looked calm while he was asleep. I gently touched his face as I begin to stroke it.

I moved upwards to feel his soft and messy dark brown hair; he looked like a bunny that was asleep. His ocean blue orbs came into view causing me to gasp in fright.

“You know it’s bad to stare, Rainfall” a rough masculine voice seethed out. My cheeks immediately reddened at the mere thought that he was awake while I was doing all of those.

I instantly dropped my hands and averted my gaze from him. He held my chin up causing me to look into his eyes. I was flustered at the way he grinned at me. He leaned forward and kissed my forehead.
