Dreams and lies

Lucian visited Denise the next morning right after Cabello left to tell her about his dream, he was so bothered to tell her about it that he had to get it off his chest.

“So what did you want to talk about so early in the morning?” She asked giving him a cup of tea as they sat opposite each other.

“I don’t know how I am going to convince you but I have had this for the longest of time so hear me out” He said and she kept quiet listening to him.

“It happened right before I met you, I used to have dreams about you even before I met you” he paused and she raised a brow.

“So you are telling me that I used to appear in your dreams?”

She asked surprised by it, she had thought their first meeting was the same for both of them and now she was baffled that he had seen her before then.

“Yes, I wasn’t sure if you were my mate when I began having those dreams” he said again and paused.

“Go ahead” she said eager to know what his dream of her has been about.
