Abandon

It Asty takes another chance again.

She hopped onto the basement, as soon as the palace wardens slacked. With an oil lamp in her hand she traversed through the empty halls that led to the inner part of the basement. She kept walking and walking and realizes that she was such in a vast, empty room— the door was on the other left end of the wall so as to confuse everyone.

After all, the King didn't want the prisoner to easily find the exit by placing it directly adjacent to the door. It could easily be walked straight, so to make things a little bit different, the King had requested its architecture to be that confusing.

However, with Asty's lamp, she was able to spot that shimmering light on the basement handle. She opened it and walked right in.

"A-Asty?" Lana once again, woke up, but spoke to her in a surprised but weak voice.
