Asthenosthene was walking in the palace's hallway when she heard whispering from the maids in the corner. She didn't want to eavesdrop but she could hear a few statements from them so audibly.
"Did you hear? His Majesty is departing a few days from now!"
"Again? To where?"
"I do not know either, but they are preparing the horses in the stable to depart for tomorrow."
"Really?"
"Yes! I have seen it myself. It is unusual because the flagship horse is not being prepared to deploy. However, they seem to be planning a wide-scale march."
"That's unusual, why wouldn't they bring the flagship horse?"
Asty walked passed them with her head lowered when the maid tried to get her attention.
"Hey, you there."
Asty halted and slowly turned herself to bow at the maid. The maids chuckled, feeling superior over her.
