The King is Teased

The chattering of the palace maids increased as the King passes by the halls with an envelope in his hand. The sheath of his sword was nowhere to be found and he wasn't wearing his robe.

It was a surprise for them to see the King dress so casually. Usually, when he comes out of his room, he wears his princely vest along with his robe. He would always have the hilt of his sword peeking throughout the sheath that was attached to his belt as he glided through the golden halls.

However, today was different.

And what surprised them more was that he had ordered for the servants to prepare his carriage.

"Yuran, Ironfield." he called to the men trailing behind him. "Is the carriage prepared?"

"It is, Your Majesty." Yuran paused for a moment before asking the King another question. "Your Majesty, if I may ask, where will we be headed to?"

"To the forests of Erana." he nonchalantly tells them. "I wish to see something for myself."
