My gown elegantly swept the floor as Emilio guided me towards the double glass doors of an opulent restaurant.

At the entrance stood a young man clad in a tuxedo and bow tie, his hair neatly tied in a bun, and his lips adorned with a welcoming smile.

"Welcome, Mr. Romano and Miss Sarah. Reservations have been made for you both. Please enjoy your dinner," he respectfully conveyed before graciously opening the door for us.

Upon entering, we were greeted by elegant surroundings adorned with fine art, luxurious fabrics, and ornate chandeliers.

I gazed around dewy eyed. Just one look at this place and I knew a drink here could cost a hole through the pocket.

I knew this restaurant was ordinarily not for someone of my status. The wealthy of the wealthy were the ones who fitted in here.

The ambience was refined, accompanied by soft classical music at the background.

The lightening was dim, playing on the pristine walls of the restaurant. Tables were meticulously set with fine cha
