“Nathan, I’m pregnant.” She said.

“So?” he asked, “That isn’t answering my question.”

“Nathan.” She said as she looked at him. “That wasn’t part of the plan.”

“Okay.” He said, “Plans change. If you are thinking I will tell you to do something with it, you’re dead wrong.”

“But.” She said.

“Say you will marry me, Kathleen.” He pleaded. “Then there will be no question of our child or how much I want to be with you. Or how much I love you.”

“Nathan.” She said, “I love you too.”

“Then say yes.” He said again with a dramatic sigh.

“I will marry you.” She said, and he smiled as he kissed her.

“When did you find out?” he asked as she looked at herself.
