Three hours later, standing on the same beach, he knew that his parents had just under twenty-three years ago, the priest pronounced them husband and wife. He kissed her with more passion than even he thought was possible as one of the people there took a few pictures of the two. He and Kathleen signed all the papers, and then he knew they were official. They were married.

Kathleen was now exactly what she always was in his mind. His wife. His partner. His other half. He smiled the entire way home as he laid her head on his shoulder. “You know how we have to be a little more gentle for a bit. I think, though, when we get home, I will make love to you until it is morning.” He said softly in her ear. She smiled as she looked at him.
