Jasper sensed danger in the crisp night air, and following his instincts, he bolted towards the mumbled screaming. The urgency in his stride mirrors the adrenaline coursing through my veins.

We made it to the deepest part of the territory. The frightening screams, watching the chaos unfold right in front of me. I spotted a lone wolf; it wasn't a rogue, but a pack wolf.

We circled each other, growling and snarling. Despite my warning, the lone wolf didn't retreat at my threatened tone or dominance. The wolf lunged forward, sidestepping his attack, and with a swift motion, I sliced down its chest.

A whimper of pain left his mouth. Ripping him backward by his hind legs as he tries to escape. He reverted to his human form, his hands raised and surrendering.

“WHAT PACK ARE YOU FROM?” I demanded, my voice laced with authority.
