Chapter 104

In the early hours of the next morning, the doctor told the Genovese family that the baby couldn't be saved although Sandra was out of danger.

Mrs Genovese couldn't believe her ears. She turned and pointed an accusing finger at Leo, telling him that if he'd been by her side and not Andrea's, the child wouldn't have lost its life.

"Actually, Mrs Genovese the reports showed excess intake of alcohol by the mother. Even if she didn't fall, it would be a miracle if the child survives on the day of birth. The alcohol had already caused enough damage, the liquor she had taken only exacerbated the situation."
