Chapter 69

It was night when Aurora awoke. Andrea who was resting by the side of the bed was elated to see her awake. She thought carefully before opening her mouth to speak.

"Aurora," she whispered as she stared down at her "Are you okay?" she asked however Aurora said nothing. She continued to stare at the ceilings while bold tears fell from the corner of her eyes.

Andrea felt heartbroken to see Aurora in such state and sadly when both her and Luca were already trying to work things out.

"Aurora, I'm sorry for..for your loss." Andrea wiped the tears on her face "And I want you to know t-that it's not Luca's fault. Luca really did everything humanly possible to help him."

Andrea waited for her response but saw that she wasn't going to speak. Her gaze was still fixed on the ceilings while tears continued to pour from her eyes.

"Please stop crying, for the sake of your kids." Andrea said but that didn't change a thing. She got up and was about to leave when she saw Leo standing by the door.
