Chapter 70

Leo and Andrea alighted from the car. The rain was pouring heavily and it thundered loudly in the distance. Tightening her coat over her body, she gazed at the sky while waiting for Leo to join her.

"I hope he finds her," she sighed "It's so cold." and then she turned to Leo, wondering why he wasn't beside her yet. He was on his phone and as he typed into it he had a serious expression on his face. Andrea had noticed this since they were at the hospital but she attributed it to his busy schedule and didn't bother to ask.

Leo lifted his head and caught her staring. He looked surprised because he thought she must have gone in.

"Hey, it's cold. Why are you still standing here?"

"Is something wrong, Leo?" Andrea decided to ask him "You've been on the phone even while you were driving."

"It's.. it's work related and I'm afraid I'll have to be there in the next few minutes."

"But Leo, it's raining heavily. The roads are not safe and you just got back!"

"Listen, I know but it will be fine."
