Chapter 51
The night started when he came to get her, and he looked at her head to toe and then grinned in a way that made her heart soar. He put out his arm and then led her to their SUV, and then he started driving.
“Where are we going?” she asked as she looked at him. He was also dressed differently.
“Sophia, I wanted to go somewhere where we could talk. Really talk first, and then I have a few things to show you.” He said, and she could feel her heart begin to drop. She knew what this talk was. She was trying to brace herself for the worst, but then he stopped, and they were by a field. The field had dots on the horizon that were familiar to her. They were nothing but cows that had been put out to graze for the fall. She smiled at the sight.

Chapter 58 Sophia sat down at the table as he began to serve her all the favorites that she had said she liked before on the many times they had gone to this one restaurant. He was good with details like that. The man in front of her knew that he could handle just about anything when it came to a boardroom or running a huge company, but a life with his wife was never going to be really easy for him. That is why he knew that he needed a strong woman to be there. Sophia was that. She was the one he needed, and he knew that he had to have the type of woman he was used to when he was growing up.
