Sam remained unconscious for a week. The doctors said the silver had impeded her healing capacity and process, it was as if she was human.
I refused to leave her room, so my father sent warrior wolves that were loyal to him to stand guard. I couldn't function at all.
Why would my pack members do this to me? They knew she was my mate. Even though I hadn't mated with her or claimed her yet, she was still important to me. I saw this as an act of mutiny.
