Alex
Sam remained unconscious for a week. The doctors said the silver had impeded her healing capacity and process, it was as if she was human.
I refused to leave her room, so my father sent warrior wolves that were loyal to him to stand guard. I couldn't function at all.
Why would my pack members do this to me? They knew she was my mate. Even though I hadn't mated with her or claimed her yet, she was still important to me. I saw this as an act of mutiny. An attack on the future luna was an attack on the future Alpha. I swore that even if Sam woke and refused to tell me who hurt her, I would still investigate and enact my revenge.
"Your father wants to have a word with you," Robe
Samantha I couldn't believe my luck when I woke up and saw Alex. I was still alive! I thought I had let my mother down and died. Thank goddess, my teeth had grown out. I played the incident in my head over and over again. Alex had been excited since I woke up. He stayed by my side all through. It was time to leave the pack hospital and go back to the alpha quarters. I dreaded the thought of it. I wish I had somewhere else to go to, but I didn't. When we got to the quarters, Alex didn't take me to my room, instead, he took me to his apartment. I was still uneasy about being there, but I didn't let it show. I saw the effort Alex was making to make me feel at home. Letting my fear show, would break his heart. One thing I was certain of was that I couldn't remain in the pack anymore. I di
Alex Samantha seemed too relaxed for someone that had gone through a traumatic experience. While I held her in bed, Damien was extremely restless. I tried to figure out why, but even he could not explain his reasons. Another thing that baffled me was her eye colour that kept changing. When she woke up at the hospital, they were golden with no trace of brown. By the time I joined her in the room after Robert left, her eyes were brown again with specks of gold. It was a mystery. I had no clue about her family, the Blackwells were nowhere to be found. But every fibre in me told me there was something special about Sam's bloodline. I couldn't tell anyone about her eyes. She was already in enough danger. My father called me telepathically for a meeting, so I snuck out of bed and let myself out. I left four guards at the door and let them
Samantha I was excited about going to the cabin. It was quite surprising when Alex told me we were going back to the cabin. I had planned to run away that very day to avoid luna Michelle's wrath. I had almost lost my life the last time. I doubted if I would survive another attack. Ophelia was quite clear on that. I wasn't so thrilled about Mason joining us, though, but Alex must have had his reasons. As much as I wanted to be with Alex, I was reluctant to let him in. I still don't trust him yet. I did not like the fact that the goddess would want us to be together. The whole thing was wrong. I shouldn't feel amazing around Alex. I shouldn't want him, but I did, and I felt weak for it. I shouldn't forgive him for all he did to me. He created the circumstances that allowed his mother to label me a dog. But my heart and wolf felt differently, and I was scared for it. I was scared, that all of this won't last and I would end up being the biggest loser. Alex drove to the human side of t
Alex Setting the cabin up took longer than I expected. I knew Robert would have taken her to the dinner reservation at our hotel. I hurried to meet up with them. When I entered the room, what I saw completely blew me away. She was beautiful. I had never seen anyone as beautiful as Sam. The golden highlights in her hair shined beautifully. Although she was sitting, I knew the dress looked amazing. She was a natural beauty. She looked like a goddess, I understood why Damien referred to her as a goddess. "Wow," The word came out of me effortlessly. She looked at me, and her brown golden eyes smiled. Robert stood up to excuse himself. I didn't pay him much attention as he left the room. My eyes were fixed on Sam. I sat across from her and just stared. The waiter came to pour us wine. I requested a non-alcoholic wine for Sam, but she insisted to try out the alcoholic wine. I instructed the waiter to serve her lightly. I intended to have a romantic dinner and not to get her drunk. "You
Samantha The next day was surprising. I walked out of the room to find Mason, Robert and Alex messing around in the kitchen trying to make breakfast. The last time Alex tried, he made a mess, but now the mess had tripled. "What is going on here?" I asked. Alex walked to me and kissed me. "Good morning Sam," Robert and Mason said, still trying to figure out what they were cooking. "We didn't want you stressing this morning," Alex explained, "So we felt we could handle breakfast." "And how is that going?" I asked, pointing at the mess. "Not perfect, but wait and see," he said and asked me to sit on the couch. The breakfast was ready. Almost burnt toast, scrambled eggs, canned baked beans and crispy bacon. Looking at the ensemble, I knew it was last minute. "Where are the scones," I teased, and Mason looked away. I guess the recipe was too complicated. When we finished, Robert and Mason insisted they clean up, so Alex and I went on a stroll. "Mason is unbelievably nice to me," I
Samantha Things were going smoothly at the cabin. I was glad to be away from the pack. When we first arrived at the cabin, I was scared that Ophelia and her goons would come for me, but after four days and nothing happened, I relaxed. Time at the cabin moved fast. The days were fun. Alex had a cook come in the mornings and leave after dinner. For fear of being poisoned, Alex and I ate from the same plate. He had found out that his mother was the one that sent Ophelia to deal with me, so he wasn't taking any chances. We spent the days together, and I was having the time of my life. Alex was a fun person to be around, and I had started falling in love with him. Robert and Mason alw
Samantha. I couldn't believe the nerve of the girl. She tried to push past me, but I didn't let her in. "Well, you will have to wait for future Alpha Alex Wildbreed.." I said and tried to close the door. One of the hefty men held it open for her. I was too exhausted to fight back. "I will pardon your disrespect." She said, stepping in while the bully held the door open for her. I was getting angry, but Helena warned me not to get into a fight because we were still exhausted from what we did for Mason. So I calmed down. "Who are you?" She asked, looking around. I didn't answer. "No one disrespects the Alpha and the beta family," she said, turning to look at me. "Clearly you are a wolf, so you know our laws, and you know the property belongs to the Yellow moon pack, so I have the right to be here." I still didn't respond. The next thing I knew, the two hefty men were dragging me out of the cabin. "Are you the rogue that has been sleeping with my mate? " she asked, and I remained si
Alex Sam eventually woke up in the morning, and we returned to the cabin. What surprised me the most was the way Mason stood guard all night in the hospital. I used to think he had his reservations about Sam, but knowing he killed Hilda's goons and stood guard in the hospital all night cleared all my doubts. Hilda was held in custody along with her father and her sister. My father deferred judgement until after my fight with Alpha Raphael. Remembering the fight, made me very afraid. I had tried to have a good time with Sam before telling her. I knew it was time to tell her. The fight was in two days, and I needed to prepare myself. Sam and I were in our room, and I couldn't stop holding her. It was time to tell her about the fight, but I was scared she would panic. I knew I had to tell her eventually, so I chose that moment. "I need to tell you something?" I said, and I could see the uneasiness in her eyes. Samantha Alex had been acting weird all day, so when he said he needed to
