Chapter 64 Let Us Work It Out

I could not let whatever it was Sam believed to linger. I was not fully recovered from the wolfsbane, but I needed to find her. So, I went straight to Elisabeth's house. I feared the reception I would get, but I knew this was something I needed to do regardless of the outcome. If I did not try, I could lose everything I held dear.

Sam wasn't happy to see me, as I suspected, but I wasn't fazed by her reaction. She was usually indifferent towards me, and it hurt like hell, but this time around I felt her anger.

"Sam, I need to speak with you." I pleaded, and she asked me to leave. There was no Alpha tone in her words, so I was able to resist.

" Please, Sam," I pleaded. When I noticed she wasn't going to agree, I pleaded with Elisabeth to excuse us, and she did.

" Please, Sam, it isn't what you think. Betty told me what happened." I tried to explain.

" I don't care what you do behind closed doors, Alex, but allowing Hilda near my children is a different matter altogether.' she

I am with you Angie. having read DSOF first, I believe Tamia is the only wolve with self respect in the books. because the rest just love their toxic relationships and it hurts to watch. well in plots like this that is

Alex is the biggest victim here after all. Ok. B4 he find out she was his mate he was the worst but he also did it to make her run away & if she would have bn honest with him, at least with him about her abilities he wouldn’t have claimed Hilda & reject her, he did it to save her when he didn’t know
