Samantha.
Lying next to Alex, all I could think of was my conversation with Sylvester. Too many hearts had been broken, and I hated myself for it.
Morning came slowly, and it was time to get up for the day.
" Is there anything you want to tell me?" Alex asked, kissing me, and I shook my head. I didn't want to bother him, we already had a lot on our plate. The twins had stormed into our bedroom and started jumping on the bed.
It was a joy watching them play every morning.
" Mommy, mommy, wake up, wake up," they said as they jumped up and down the bed.
Alex brought me a glass of juice, but I declined and got up to get ready for the day.
