“I don’t even want to see his stupid face,” Julia said, crossing her arms after the prisoners warden announced they could see Jonah.

“No matter what happened, he’s still your brother and my son. If anything, we deserve some closure,” Mia said, getting up.

“He could have just died there. Why bother showing his stupid face here just to bring back the shame his absence brought and to be thrown in jail?”
