Chapter 134 – Not just twins. A boy and a girl

Two months later

Anderson went with Avery to the court to witness the judgment against Yvonne. They were surprised to see Trent there but he was in the company of a petite woman with brunette hair like Avery’s but the facial features were different. The woman looked very innocent like Avery’s early years in college. Seemed like Trent could not forget Avery and had to use someone with similar body features to help in that phase.

For the past two months, the court battles were ongoing. Yvonne’s friends whom she had helped before, joined hands to help her with a good lawyer but the lawyer explained in simple terms that she would not win this case, looking at all the evidence brought out against her. The only thing they could do was to find ways of reducing the jail terms thereby appealing to the court that Bernice was not aware of Avery’s pregnancy so the judgment of assaulting a pregnant woman was reduced. Bernice is obsessed, nothing stopped her eventhough Trent tried to help her so I don't think she will stop. you did the same with Susan in the first book. It annoyed me that Susan's kindness got her into trouble all the time. same thing happening here to Avery.
