Chapter 28 - What have you done to Avery Smith?

Trent was disappointed when Mr. Wick decided to partner with the Crowns instead of the Bakers. This was the reason why his father nominated him to work with Mr. Wick for the sake of this partnership.

It meant that he failed and might not be the CEO of his father’s company if his junior brother graduated and succeeded in the project chosen for him.

It was a miracle when Mr. Wick allowed him to be his rep in New York. He might still be far from his main goal but now, he would be closer to Avery and his rival Anderson, which was an equally good opportunity. Ten percent of Mr. Wick’s profit would belong to the Bakers because Trent was his rep so Trent would still have the opportunity of being CEO of his father’s company if this project goes well.

When Mr. Wick explained it to him, he quickly grabbed the opportunity. However, he was eager to see Avery before this meeting and had lost hope after Anderson took her along. Who knew that she would be right here waiting for him?
