Grabbing onto Skyler’s arms, Camilla sobbed. “Skyler, are you going to let her continue accusing me like that?”

Judging by her response, Abigail was confident that her guess was probably right. She then continued to question Camilla. “Miss Gion, if you’re not the person I’m talking about, why aren’t you accepting my idea of going through the hospital records?”

“That’s enough!” interrupted Skyler.

Abigail was not having it as well. “Skyler, you were once an influential person, how did you fall in love with a phony? If you still have an ounce of sense left in you, you’d check the hospital records! That way, you’d know for sure who’s lying and who isn’t”

Skyler’s face darkened. He bit on his lips and uttered rather belatedly. “I believe Camilla.”

“What did you say?” Abigail was dumbfounded, “you believe her? Are you out of your mind?”

Skyler retorted. “Miss Sloan, you’ve had your fun today, haven’t you? I’ll let you off the hook as we were once high school mates and your dad and I
