For some reason, it was as if she could hear Sir’s voice through his text messages, especially the ‘okay’ that he added at the end of his text.

It was like when they slept together, side by side.

It was like he was whispering those words right into her ears.

“Estelle, let’s go get you a new outfit. This ring’s too stunning and we should get something to match it!”

Estelle felt that it was too much of an effort. “Abigail, I don’t feel like it.”

“Oh come on, I insist! I promised to get you a piece of jewelry but you ended up getting it yourself instead. It won’t take long to get a new outfit. Come on now, I’m going to make sure you’re dressed well today!”

Abigail stopped her car in front of a boutique. Dragging along Estelle with her, she assured. “Estelle, pick whichever outfit that you like. Though I wasn’t able to afford the jewelry, I’m happy to buy you several outfits.”

Estelle eventually gave in and followed her into the shop.

The boutique was rather famous
