Ever since Vildus had laid his eyes on Karica, he knew their connection ran deeper. The way her gorgeous green eyes had been fixated on him and those scarlet lips, so inviting, so tempting.

He wanted to sweep her away right then and there but that damned mate of hers had been guarding her like a rabid dog.

Vildus, Romello and Xui Lin were sitting together discussing their further plan.

“I am going to enjoy snapping his neck someday but for now we need to build up our strengths. He will be cohorting with the witches.”

Vildus’s hellhound army was more than half wiped out in his last attack. As strong as he was, he knew it wouldn't be an easy task to take on a whole pack of Lycans, backed by the witches and the Lycan King. Xynathius hadn't even broken a sweat while ripping his hellhounds apart.
