He Misses Her

Adiyan's POV

Days lost meaning, nights became restless for she was not here with me anymore. I hardly slept, she had gotten me addicted to herself like a drug and I had been reduced to a mere addict whose life-saving elixir was taken away.

Not for a second I believed the heartless words he made her say. She wouldn't have run and taken refuge if he was so benevolent in the first place. That man was a brute, ruthless, heartless brute.

I couldn't even bring myself to believe what she must be going through daily. At least there were no bruises on her face and hands and I could only pray there weren't any on her body because it was covered with a long coat.

I couldn't keep her safe and without her statement, there was nothing I could do. She tied my hands and threw me in a well so deep that I couldn't reach her.
