We wadded through the dense forest, the light hardly reached its floor. The morning birds chirped as they searched for the worms. There was this eerie quietness about it apart from birds and distant animals.

Many unknown creatures lurked here and I was sure the Wendigos that had attacked us, came from here as well, although they were not native to the North.

"Do Wendigos live here? I thought they dwelled only in the Western continent," I inquired, tilting my head towards Xynathius.

"Recently a lot of creatures have migrated to the black forest, we have seen some unusual activity on our patrols. It is fast becoming a hub for supernatural beings and we can't figure out why. Wendigos are not native to the North but like other creatures, they seem to have inhabited the black forest. We will need powerful boundary spells to avoid what happened last time.
