Just after he successfully persuaded Jade to sleep, Tyler heard someone knocking. Immediately, he strode to the door and opened it.

The maid opened her mouth to convey the message left by Tyler's servant before leaving the luggage but shut her mouth when Tyler beckoned that she should keep quiet.

She left the luggage and walked away without passing on the message.

When Tyler finished having a shower, he went straight to the bed after putting on his pajamas.

It's been a long time since he held Jade to sleep. He didn't know if he should be thankful that Jade is in this state or should he worry about it.

If she isn't emotionally disturb and in the right frame of mind, he wouldn't have the chance to hold her in his arms.

He was glad that he could hold her in his arms. However, he was sad that she seemed oblivious to his presence because if she did, she would push him away.
