Chapter 18 - Envy

Jade ran downstairs as if she was being chased by an enemy.

"Good evening, madam, do you need something?" Gregory, Tyler's butler asked when he saw Jade rushing towards the door.

Jade stopped dead and breathed in some air. She didn't turn afraid that Tyler was at the stairs looking at her.

"Is there a driver that could send me to my apartment?" Jade knew that a high end community like this would not allow cab to enter.

"Yes, madam," Gregory replied and approached the intercom to call a driver.

"Thanks," Jade said and walked out of the mansion in a haste.

A chilly air encased Jade and she remembered that she had forgotten her purpose why she entered the walk-in closet.

Her face, neck and ears turned red as Tyler's image on his boxers floated in her mind.

She tried to erase the image of his well sculpted body from her mind but they kept coming back.
