Chapter 21 - His Girlfriend

Jade saw his tender gaze but didn't think so much about it thinking that she was just seeing things and closed her eyes.

She waited for Tyler to leave before opening her eyes, but he remained seated at the edge of the bed.

"Go and wash your face. The dinner will get cold," Tyler said and walked away when she refused to look at him.

Jade tried to decipher the emotion in his tone but couldn't decode it and didn't have the right term to identify it.

Jade got up from the bed and it was only then that she remembered what had happened in the car.

Three minutes later, she walked into the kitchen. Landing her gaze on the sumptuous meal served on the table, she couldn't help but widened her eyes in surprise.
