Chapter 44 - Boring Bunch of People

Tyler didn't talk to her when they were eating and Jade was unwilling to talk either. So the only noise in the dining room was the intermittent soft clinking of cutleries.

When they were about to go to bed, Jade could not stand the deafening silence and decided to talk.

"What is the progress of the mission?" She asked about it as that was their only common ground.

"Plans completed and implementation will be the day after tomorrow," Tyler replied as he sat at the edge of the bed.

"Do you have a target date to crush the rebellion?" Jade needs to know it because her freedom is connected to this mission.

"Five to six months," he frowned and asked, "Why are you asking?"

"When everything is over, both of us will regain our freedom," Jade's cheerful tone unknowingly irritated Tyler.
