Chapter 66 - Emboldened Assistant

After their falling out in the hospital Jade hadn't seen Tyler for a month and had a rather peaceful life.

"You don't have to wait for me. Go and pick up Timothy," Jade said before she alighted from the car.

"Dear," Cecilia hugged Jade and they sat in the living room.

"How are you, mom?" Her tone was laced with worry.

"Jade, you have to convince mom to go to the hospital," Jared spoke before Cecilia could utter a word.

Jade looked at Jared coming near them.

Jade didn't forget to smile despite her worry when she saw Jared. "Hey, it's been a while."

"Madam, Sir Tyler is here," Simeon interrupted them, announcing Tyler's arrival.

For Jade it wasn't surprising for Tyler to come anytime he wants because it's his home.

However, Jade was a little uneasy to see him again.

The atmosphere in the living room was fraught with awkwardness.

Their usual lively chattering when they're together has become like a funeral. Only a few words were exchanged.

Jade felt like they came back to a f
