Auster Decision VII

After a minute had gone, nobody even exchanged words with one another. The area becomes completely silent until all I can hear is each of us breathing. His eyes appear to be on fire, but I should have known better what to anticipate.

As soon as he said, "I guess we only have our chances to make things the way we want them to happen," he snapped his fingers and was instantly wearing the same clothes as me.

I'm holding onto his neck as we are already standing apart from one another, so if anything further were to happen, I knew we would return to the bloody spot where we had first met.

I never once considered that I would regard these young men differently than how I could for the longest time in the location where I have been.

I was certain that I couldn't even manage to avoid them because it seemed as though they had me in the palm of their hands. I just don't know anything about these beings; neither of us nor even the others, can predict the future.
